Overview

VBL30 was a three-day, multi-venue anniversary event celebrating 30 years of Varun Beverages, held across a river cruise, Shangri-La Grand Ballroom, and ICONSIAM Hall, welcoming over 250 guests from India and Thailand.

Due to its complexity, the project required strong event production in Bangkok, Thailand, involving multiple international and local teams without a central organizer.

Jabu Events led the full event production in Bangkok, Thailand, overseeing staging, technical execution, and real-time problem-solving to ensure seamless delivery across all three days.


Design Highlights

1st Day — Cruise Dinner & Registration

  • Created a cohesive VBL30 visual identity for the welcome and registration areas
  • Designed the cruise stage and lighting to suit limited space and evening river ambience
  • we planned staging layouts to support multiple performances, including the Drone Show.
  • Organized front-of-house and guest circulation to ensure smooth movement on board

2nd Day — Shangri-La (Conference & Award Ceremony)

  • Designed a shared stage setup supporting both conference sessions and award ceremonies
  • Used Maxima structure to create a clean, premium stage suitable for large LED visuals
  • Styled lighting and LED content to support presentations and performances throughout the day
  • Structured backstage flow to accommodate multiple international performance teams
  • Designed photo spot and front-of-house décor aligned with the VBL30 brand identity

3rd Day — ICONSIAM (Gala Night)

  • Designed a premium gala stage using Maxima structure and high-quality vinyl finishes
  • Positioned the Main LED (17m x 5m) and Side LED (6m x 5m) to elevate the gala experience
  • Created lighting and visual moods tailored to each performance
  • Organized stage and backstage zones to support continuous show flow
  • Styled the overall ambience to position Gala Night as the highlight of the three-day celebration

The Challenge
