Jabu Events is a leading Event Organizer based in Thailand. We take our name from the Zulu word jabulani, meaning rejoice. It’s a fitting way to describe who we are and what we do. Jabu events are celebrations of art, music, dance, culture and life. Jabu Events is a brand of Siolim Adventures Co. Ltd, an entertainment and tourism collective. Siolim Adventures has been in operation since 2008 . The founders of the company are brothers Vishal and Varun Sood. Vishal is a former Production Head at MTV India and a VP at Viacom. And Varun is a private equity and finance guru. The company’s first venture and sister brand is Jabudays Yacht Charters. Jabudays was named best charter company in Phuket at the 2018 Travel & Hospitality Awards. Jabu Events is among the top event organizers in Thailand. With our innovative design & spectacular entertainment we are considered a trend setter.
Our History
In 2009, we founded Jabu Events, creating unforgettable experiences for a range of international private and corporate clients. In addition, By 2011 we opened our second office in Bangkok. We’ve since evolved our offering beyond Thailand to include events in Singapore, Taiwan, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. We provide three main services for our clients: turnkey & bespoke event management, MICE and live entertainment. Additionally, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, holistic approach to event planning, creativity within the constraints of time and budget and no-holds barred attitude. In short, if we say we can achieve something, we’ll achieve it. Furthermore, we were delighted to be featured on the cover of TTG MICE, the Asia-Pacific events industry’s leading trade publication, in June 2013. Finally, Under MICE Service currently Jabu Events books over 10,000 room nights and handles movement of over 3,000 PAX annually.
Most recently, we launched Bangkok Bollywood: a bold and colorful new home for Bollywood in Bangkok. Make no mistake, It’s a celebration of Indian culture that caters to the subcontinent’s MICE, weddings and events market. Bangkok Bollywood currently offers two in-house bands, playing brass and strings renditions of Bollywood anthems. Therefore, we also promote Bollywood DJs, musicians, dancers and other themed performers across Thailand.
